Even though it is a bit dated, the talk by thought leader Johan Rockstrom is phenomenal. The details might have changed since 2010, but they key messages are even more relevant than ever before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Human growth has strained the earth&rsquo;s resources, but as Johan Rockstr&ouml;m reminds us, our advances also give us the science to recognize this and change behavior. His research has found nine &ldquo;<a class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Planetary boundaries&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;&amp;lt;!-- wp:paragraph --&amp;gt;In 2009, 28 internationally renowned researchers identified and quantified a set of nine planetary boundaries within which humanity can continue to develop and feel good in the future.
